Elenestina Shipangwa (1944-1972) whom the foundation is named in honor of her, died at the age of 28 leaving behind two children and her beloved husband and other relatives who were living in her household. She died in pregnancy. Being a mother to an extended family, made her to be known for generosity and hospitality to the people whom she stayed with. In her earthly life, she used to share what she had with other people either in her family or neighbors. The best thing which is mostly remembered by many is escorting her friend who was in labor pain to the local dispensary despite her being pregnant where in next day she passed away due to heart attack. We honor her for keeping and fostering humanity in her family, through generosity and hospitality. As the family we share a little we have with others so as to make the legacy of our beloved mother and granny alive.
