Elenestina Shipangwa (1944-1972) whom the foundation is named in honor of her, died at the age of 28 leaving behind two children and her beloved husband and other relatives who were living in her household. She died in pregnancy. Being a mother to an extended family, made her to be known for generosity and hospitality to the people whom she stayed with. In her earthly life, she used to share what she had with other people either in her family or neighbors.
